Stalled Out

I have been a little discouraged because I stalled out for about a month. It would have been easy to give up but then I remembered what I looked like 6months ago and decided I had come to far to give up. I also lost enough weight that it justified buying a new mini wardrobe! I think this made losing the weight a little more exciting. I do need to get back to excersising in some way since the outdoor pool is no longer an option. Hope everyone else is staying on track, the Holiday’s are coming and I have another 11lbs to lose before a Christmas party in the beginging of December!

1lb to go!

1lb to go until I hit my first MiniGoal, I am really excited about it. I have decided that I am going to do all my Mini Goals in 50lb increments after my first is completed! I can’t believe I am 4lb away from losing my first 50lbs! Christmas is just around the corner and I am hoping to be in an 18/20 by the time I go shopping for a Holiday outfit! An 18/20 was the smallest I have been in the last 12years of my life. I believe I was a 22/24 through most of High School. It is really weird to put on clothes that just 5months ago were tight or even didn’t fit anymore because I was to large are not sagging off of my body! I am just so much more pumped about this new way of eating and doing things than I ever have been before. I realized this is the first time I tried to lose weight just for me, in the past it has always been about trying to lose weight for Prom or my Wedding, or to attract other people, but this time it really is just about me wanting to have a better quality of life! I have definately had my set backs for sure, but the thing to do is realize that I can’t quit if I stumble, I just have to get back up and start again.

7lbs. to go!

I am so excited about having only 7lbs to go until I reach my mini goal, there has been a lot of temptation lately, and even a little stumble here and there ( I had gained 1lb) but I have already taken it back off. After I hit my mini goal I think my next Mini goal will be 275 which will then put me at my High School weight or lighter. I find that swimming is my favorite form of exercise and it burns more calories than just cardio. I am fitting into less and less of my clothing which feels great, I have a entire new batch of clothes that I bought in my “I will lose a few pounds than it will fit phases” over the years, or stuff that I kept after I had become to large to wear it. I am having a hard time deciding whether to have some of my favorite pieces adjusted to fit me or sell them and just save for new clothes as I continue to lose weight!
Oh and for the first time in my life I bought a piece of clothing that wasn’t Lanes or Avenue etc, I bought a gorgeous dress by Calvin Klein in a 24 OMG before I started losing weight I barely fitting into a 32 (thought I am not down to a 24 in all clothing items - I am somewhere between a 26 and 28)! Slightly bitter sweet news is I got married in December and never took my bridal photos which I was going to take later after the Wedding (just to have them) but at this rate my dress won’t fit anymore even though it laces up in the back :( **What does one do with something so precious but so useless?
